Adult's SW - MASH Team - City of Wolverhampton
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our MASH Team in the City of Wolverhampton. As a member of this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing complex cases involving vulnerable adults, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults at risk and developing tailored care plans.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic support and interventions.
- Participating in safeguarding investigations and making timely decisions to protect vulnerable adults.
- Engaging with service users, families, and external agencies to promote independence and positive outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports in compliance with statutory requirements and best practice guidelines.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration.
- Demonstrated experience in adult social work, preferably within a MASH or safeguarding team.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult safeguarding.
