Eden Brown are looking for a Temporary Engineering Assessor on behalf of a leading Further Education college in Lancashire

This is a part time temporary role (4 days per week) to start as soon as possible until the end of October

Programmes You will support:
* Engineering Technician Level 3 (Machining, Technical Support, Toolmaker)
* Metal Fabricator Level 3
* Manufacturing Engineer Level 5 (Degree Apprenticeship)
Key Responsibilities:
* Hold and manage a caseload of engineering apprentices
* Ensure consistent progress towards NVQ qualifications and KSBs (Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours)
* Provide targeted support to a small group of apprentices who are beyond their planned end date, helping them reach Gateway and completion
* Conduct 4-6 weekly 1-1s in the workplace with apprentices and maintain clear communication with their employers
* Lead 12-weekly Progress Reviews with both apprentices and employers
* Track and monitor learner progress and attendance using OneFile
* Engage in monthly 1-1 meetings with the programme leader to review learner progress and address any concerns

What We're Looking For:
Occupational competence in one or more of the listed apprenticeship standards
* Experience in assessing or coaching apprentices in engineering or manufacturing disciplines
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Familiarity with OneFile or similar e-portfolio systems is desirable
* An Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, or equivalent)

A DBS is also needed for this role, if you do not have a current DBS Eden Brown can apply on your behalf.
