We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Greenwich - QSW - Joint Emergency Team. As part of this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate support and intervention to individuals and families facing crisis situations.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Responding to emergency situations promptly and effectively
  • Conducting assessments to determine the level of risk and support needed
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other professionals
  • Providing crisis intervention and support to clients in distress
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and certification
  • Demonstrated experience in working with vulnerable populations in crisis situations
  • Strong assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

In addition to the above, candidates should have a deep understanding of safeguarding principles and a commitment to promoting the well-being of individuals in need. Experience in multi-agency working and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies is highly desirable.
