We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Team Manager for Adult Social Care in Milton Keynes, offering a competitive rate of £40 per hour. As a Deputy Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the team’s day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and best practices in social work.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Team Manager in the leadership and management of the social work team.
- Supervising and mentoring social workers and providing guidance on complex cases.
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality assessments and care plans for service users.
- Collaborating with other agencies and stakeholders to improve service delivery.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of team objectives and strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in adult social care, including supervisory or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of legislation and best practices in adult social work.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
