Children's SW - Locality Team - South Gloucestershire

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with local policies and procedures.
- Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence when required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in children's social work, ideally within a locality team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
