Join our dedicated Children's Social Work team in South Gloucestershire, where we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families. We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Social Worker to support our South Locality Team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, ensuring their needs are met within a supportive environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing care plans that promote the well-being and development of children.
  • Working closely with multi-agency teams to coordinate services and interventions.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.
  • Attending court hearings and presenting evidence as required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
