As an Assessment Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory regulations.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Proven experience in assessment and child protection work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
