Eden Brown Synergy is seeking an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join the Looked After Children (LAC) Team at Nottinghamshire County Council. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the welfare of children in care and be part of a supportive and motivated team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of looked after children, ensuring their needs are met.
- Conduct assessments, care planning, and statutory visits.
- Support children, families, and carers through positive relationship-building.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures and statutory regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality services.
Essential Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience in Children's Services
- Registered with Social Work England
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, legislation, and best practice in Children's Services
