We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Referral & Assessment Team in Wokingham. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assessing the needs of vulnerable children and families, and coordinating appropriate support services.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting initial assessments of children and families referred to the team
  • Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual case
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to promote positive changes and safeguarding
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings as required

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and developing care plans within a social work setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
