We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager to join our Complex Team in Hammersmith & Fulham. As a key member of our social work department, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of social workers and support staff to deliver high-quality services to vulnerable children and families.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to the team to ensure effective case management and positive outcomes for service users.
  • Manage complex cases, conduct assessments, and develop care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, policies, and procedures while promoting best practices in social work.
  • Support the professional development of team members through training, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Participate in strategic planning, service development, and partnership working to improve the quality of services.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection, safeguarding, and working with complex cases in a social work setting.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to engage with stakeholders and manage workload efficiently.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and upholding ethical standards in social work practice.
