Camden - QSW - Support & Safeguarding Social Worker
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support & Safeguarding Social Worker to join our team in Camden. As a key member of our Qualified Social Work department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and safeguarding services to vulnerable individuals and families in the community.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans for individuals in need of support and protection
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and law enforcement, to ensure the safety and well-being of clients
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to individuals experiencing difficult situations
- Advocate for clients' rights and empower them to make informed decisions about their lives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker (QSW) with a valid registration with the relevant regulatory body
- Demonstrated experience in working with vulnerable populations, particularly in the areas of support and safeguarding
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to social work practice
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
