Role: Senior Practitioner - Adult Social Care

Pay Rate: £35.00 per hour
Contract: Locum (Ongoing)

Camden Council is currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join their Adult Social Care team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a borough known for its commitment to high standards and continuous development in adult services.
As a Senior Practitioner, you will take the lead on complex cases, provide professional supervision to colleagues, and help deliver person-centred care in line with statutory requirements. You'll be working with adults who may have physical disabilities, learning difficulties, mental health needs or safeguarding concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage complex caseloads, including safeguarding and Court of Protection work
Support and supervise social workers and newly qualified staff
Ensure compliance with the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005
Contribute to service improvement and quality assurance activities
Promote strengths-based, outcome-focused social work practice
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration
Minimum of 4 years' post-qualifying experience in Adult Social Care
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice
Experience supervising or mentoring staff is preferred
