Central Bedfordshire - Associate/ Locum Educational Psychologist

Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking qualified and experienced Associate or Locum Educational Psychologists to join our Extended Educational Psychology Team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to engage in statutory assessment and tribunal work on a flexible, per-assessment basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct statutory psychological assessments for children and young people.

Provide tribunal work as required.

Carry out observational and direct work in person across Central Bedfordshire, with occasional travel for out-of-authority assessments.

Attend meetings (online attendance may be arranged by negotiation).

Ensure all assessment work is completed within a 4-week timeframe from the date of allocation.

Contract Details:

Contracts are assessment-based, with work delivered in person.

Meetings may be conducted online where appropriate.

Payment is per assessment, with rates starting from £1,100 per assessment (equivalent to £550 per day).

Final rates are negotiable based on experience and agreed daily rate.
