Pay Rate: £33 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Length: 12 months
Start Date: Immediate
Working Pattern: Full-time

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Adults Social Care Team in Birmingham on a 12-month locum contract, paying £33 per hour.

This is a hybrid role, with home-based working, one day per week at Sparkbrook, and regular home visits across Birmingham to assess and support complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of complex adults within the community.

Conduct manual handling assessments and recommend appropriate equipment and adaptations.

Work with a strengths-based, person-centred approach to maximise independence.

Collaborate with other professionals to deliver coordinated care plans.

Requirements:

HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.

Minimum 1 year post-qualified experience.

Manual handling experience is essential.

Able to start immediately.

Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and communication skills.
