About the Role

Bradford Children and Families Trust is seeking a motivated and experienced Team Manager to lead a part-time post within their Children and Families Team 2, based across Keighley and Shipley.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a pivotal leadership role focused on delivering high-quality safeguarding and family support services, while working flexibly in a hybrid environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective day-to-day leadership to social work staff within the Children and Families Team

  • Oversee the allocation, management, and quality assurance of CIN, CP, and court-related cases

  • Monitor performance to ensure compliance with statutory timescales and service standards

  • Chair team meetings and provide reflective supervision to social workers

  • Liaise with internal and external professionals to ensure coordinated multi-agency responses

  • Contribute to service planning and continuous improvement

  • Support and guide social workers in complex decision-making


Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration

  • Previous experience as a Team Manager or strong Senior Practitioner

  • Proven background in child safeguarding, care proceedings, and family support

  • Strong supervision, leadership, and decision-making skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service

  • Ability to work on-site in Keighley or Shipley as required
