Part-Time QSW | Fostering Team- Non-Case Holding - Stockport
Stockport Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Connected Carers Team in a part-time, non-case holding Duty Social Worker role. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and established team, focusing purely on duty-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the Duty Social Worker, working alongside an experienced full-time duty colleague
* Take the lead on Regulation 24 Assessments and Viability Assessments (both PLO and Court Directed)
* Attend and represent the team in ULPMs, LPMs, and CPMs, and follow up on any related duty tasks
* Provide support and supervision to Kinship Foster Carers when their supervising social worker is unavailable
* Support Assessing Social Workers with tasks such as Form K assessments when necessary
* Maintain a focus on duty responsibilities as the primary aspect of the role

Working Pattern:
* 18.5 hours per week
* One of the working days must be Monday
* The second working day is negotiable
* Hybrid working is available for some elements of the role
* All Regulation 24 Assessments and Viability Assessments must be conducted face-to-face
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration.
* Driving license and access to own vehicle.
