Manchester City Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the Ardwick & Longsight Integrated Neighbourhoods Team. This is a vital role within a fast-paced adult services team, supporting the delivery of high-quality social care to residents.

Key Responsibilities:
Undertake assessments, reviews, and safeguarding work under the Care Act

Work collaboratively within an integrated neighbourhood model

Promote independence through strength-based and person-centred approaches

Develop and implement support plans in partnership with individuals and service providers

Maintain accurate case records and statutory documentation

Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration

Strong experience in adult social care and neighbourhood-based working

Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively

Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding protocols
