Trafford - QSW - North Neighbourhood Team
We are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our North Neighbourhood Team, a vital part of our integrated community service. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team that values innovation, collaboration, and strengths-based practice.
About the Role:
As a Social Worker within our North Neighbourhood Team, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality adult social care. You will carry out strengths-based assessments and provide person-centred interventions that focus on promoting independence, wellbeing, and resilience.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting social work assessments and interventions in line with the Care Act 2014
Engaging in preventative and informative conversations to identify individual needs and outcomes
Securing appropriate levels of funding in line with Reshaping Trafford Policy
Responding effectively to safeguarding concerns and enquiries, following local and national guidance
Working collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and partner agencies
What we're looking for:
A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
Registered with Social Work England
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a statutory adult social care setting
Strong understanding of current legislation, including the Care Act
A proactive, reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement
Excellent communication and case management skills
