We are currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to join the Children in Care Service in Enfield on an initial 4-month contract.

This is a key leadership role within Children's Social Care, managing a team responsible for children subject to:

Child in Need Plans
Child Protection Plans
Care Proceedings
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a high-performing social work team within the Children in Care service
Provide effective supervision, oversight, and case direction
Ensure high-quality practice and compliance with statutory responsibilities
Support staff development and promote positive outcomes for children and families
Oversee complex safeguarding and court work
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
Significant experience within Child Protection and Children in Need services
Proven experience managing Children in Care cases and care proceedings
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Team Manager within Children's Services
Strong leadership, decision-making, and performance management skills


£42-£46 per hour umbrella
Initial 4-month placement
Start date: 1st June or as soon as possible thereafter
