Stoke on Trent - AP/SP- Family First Team
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join Stoke-on-Trent City Council's Family First Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive local authority focused on early intervention, safeguarding, and achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
Pay Rate: £33.30 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: ST4 1RN, Stoke-on-Trent
As a Social Worker within the Family First Team, you will work directly with children, young people, and families to provide effective support and intervention. You will manage a diverse caseload, undertake assessments, develop outcome-focused plans, and work alongside multi-agency professionals to ensure children are safeguarded and families receive the right support at the right time.
Key Skills Required:
* Experience within Children in Need, Early Help, or Child Protection services
* Ability to undertake assessments, care planning, and risk management
* Strong safeguarding knowledge and sound decision-making skills
* Ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies
* Experience producing high-quality reports and maintaining accurate case records
* Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and supportive team environment
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Previous experience within Children's Services
* Strong communication and organisational skills
