Stoke on Trent - Independent Reviewing Officer
Stoke on Trent City Council is currently seeking an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer to support their Child Protection / Looked After Children Team.
Location: Civic Centre
Pay Rate: £38.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Notes :- Role is face to face
Key Responsibilities:
- Chairing Child Protection Conference
- Chairing Looked after Children Reviews
- Chairing strategy meetings
- Chairing Foster Carer reviews
- Providing advisory service to Social Workers and other professionals
- Quality assuring court reports
- Producing Looked after Children Reviews reports
- Producing Foster Carer Review reports
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
