We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Referral & Assessment Team in the AFC sector. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within the community while earning an attractive rate of £37.52 per hour on an umbrella basis. Your expertise will be vital in assessing and managing referrals to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals and families.
As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of referrals to identify the needs and risks of children and families.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Providing support and guidance to families, offering interventions to promote positive outcomes.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a similar role, particularly within referral and assessment.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to service users.
