Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Referral & Assessment Team for Southwark Council.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Managing a team of Social Workers within a busy Referral & Assessment service, ensuring effective service delivery.
* Overseeing incoming referrals, ensuring appropriate screening, decision-making, and timely allocation of work.
* Ensuring all statutory assessments are completed to a high standard and within required timescales.
* Providing supervision, guidance, and support to staff, driving high performance and continuous improvement.
* Managing complex and high-risk cases, ensuring robust safeguarding practice and risk management.
* Working in partnership with multi-agency professionals to deliver coordinated services for children and families.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Monitoring team performance and contributing to service development and improvement.

Working Pattern:
* Hybrid working

Pay Rate:
* £45.20 p/h Umb

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Social Work England Registration
* Extensive experience within Referral & Assessment / Front Door services
* Previous Team Manager or strong Senior Practitioner/Advanced Practitioner experience
* Thorough knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance
