An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Practice Supervisor to join the Children's Safeguarding Team at Lincolnshire County Council. This is an ongoing agency contract offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to lead and support frontline social work practice within a well-established local authority.

About the Role
As a Practice Supervisor, you will play a key role in providing professional leadership, supervision, and guidance to social workers. You will ensure high-quality safeguarding practice, support positive outcomes for children and families, and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide supervision, mentoring, and professional support to social workers.
- Oversee complex child protection, safeguarding, and court work.
- Ensure assessments, care plans, and case recordings meet statutory requirements and best practice standards.
- Support staff development through coaching and reflective supervision.
- Promote high-quality practice to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard vulnerable children.
Requirements
- Social Work England registration.
- Significant post-qualifying experience within Children's Services.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and court processes.
- Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or supporting social workers.
- Excellent assessment, communication, decision-making, and analytical skills.
