We are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a Children with Disabilities Team based in North Somerset. 37 hours a week, 3 month+ contracts 37 hours per week and an exceptional rate of between £42ph for experienced workers. Good transport links off the M5. Hybrid working
North Somerset Council is seeking a motivated Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and experienced team, helping children and young people achieve the best possible outcomes.
About the Role
As a Social Worker in the Children with Disabilities Team, you will:
Manage a varied caseload of children and young people with disabilities.
Undertake assessments, develop child-centred plans, and provide ongoing support.
Build positive relationships with children, families, carers, and partner agencies.
Work collaboratively across education, health, and social care to safeguard children and promote their wellbeing.
Ensure the voice of the child is central to all aspects of practice.
You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
