Social worker - Family Safeguarding - North Somerset
We are currently seeking an experienced Advance Social Worker to join a Family support & Safeguarding Team based in North Somerset. 37 hours a week, 3 month+ contracts 37 hours per week and an exceptional rate of between £38ph Good transport links off the M5. Hybrid working
Working on child protection, CIN, child in care, right through to adoption and court cases.
The work within the team is of a complex nature, either high end children in need, or child protection. Cases also progress to care proceedings where appropriate hence the need for knowledge around Court work and the statutory requirements for children who are looked after
Applicants need to be experienced in progressing child protection / CIN plans with specific measurable and timely interventions and be able to recognise when further intervention is required to protect the children within their case load and take the appropriate action to address this.
You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
