An excellent opportunity has become available for an Occupational Therapist to join the Front Door Team at the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead.

This is a rewarding role for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting adults to maintain their independence through timely, person-centred assessments and interventions.

The Role

As part of the Front Door Team, you will provide an outcome-focused Occupational Therapy assessment service to adults with physical disabilities and age-related conditions. You will work closely with individuals, their families, and multidisciplinary professionals to promote independence and deliver effective, strengths-based solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments.
  • Supporting adults with physical disabilities and age-related needs.
  • Recommending equipment, adaptations, and moving and handling solutions where appropriate.
  • Developing person-centred care and support plans.
  • Working collaboratively with health, social care, and community partners.
  • Managing a varied caseload while ensuring high-quality and timely interventions.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and current HCPC registration.
  • Previous experience working within Adult Social Care.
  • Experience completing functional assessments and recommending equipment and adaptations.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and case management skills.
  • The ability to work independently within a fast-paced service.
