About the Role
Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for a Senior Social Worker - Assessment & Intervention Team on behalf of Gateshead Council. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join a supportive and established local authority service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking high-quality assessments, managing complex cases, and delivering effective interventions to support positive outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based interventions for children and families.
Manage a varied caseload, including complex safeguarding and child protection cases.
Develop and implement effective care plans in partnership with children, families, and professionals.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote their wellbeing.
Prepare reports and contribute to court processes where required.
Support colleagues and contribute to maintaining high standards of social work practice.
Requirements
Valid Social Work England registration.
Significant post-qualifying experience within Children's Services.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and court processes.
Experience managing complex cases and delivering effective interventions.
Excellent assessment, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
