Oldham Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Assessment & Intervention Team. As a Social Worker in the Assessment & Intervention Team, you will be responsible for a range of key duties, including:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
- Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to support vulnerable individuals.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic support.
- Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in line with statutory requirements.
- Providing support and guidance to families, helping them to access necessary resources and services.
The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
