As a key member of our Corporate Parenting Team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children in care.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Undertake assessments and create care plans for children and young people in care
  • Provide direct support and intervention to children, young people, and their families
  • Participate in multi-agency meetings and reviews to advocate for the needs of children in care
  • Work closely with foster carers, residential care providers, and other professionals to coordinate care services
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to corporate parenting

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work degree
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
