Children's SW Pre-proceedings & Parenting Assessment - Blackburn
Blackburn with Darwen Children's Services, recently rated 'Good' in their full ILACS Ofsted inspection, are seeking experienced Social Workers to join their Safeguarding and Support Team on an agency basis.

Role Overview:
You will primarily focus on conducting parenting assessments within pre-proceedings, with occasional involvement in care proceedings. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of safeguarding practice.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience in Children's Services
* Ability to manage a complex caseload independently
* Skilled in completing detailed assessments and maintaining accurate, timely records
* Proficiency in IT systems prior experience using Liquid Logic is desirable but not essential
* Must be willing to work from the office 3 days per week, plus attend for emergencies and service needs
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
