Bradford - AP - Children and Families Team - £37 PH
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Children and Families Team in Bradford. This position offers a competitive rate of £37 per hour and provides an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families in the community.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Undertaking assessments and developing care plans for children and families in need of support
- Providing direct intervention and support to children and families to promote their well-being and safety
- Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic care for service users
- Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of children
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interventions and interactions in accordance with statutory requirements
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification
- Registered with Social Work England
- Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting
- Excellent assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make evidence-based decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders
