We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in Wirral in the role of Permanence and Assessment and Intervention. As a key member of our social work department, you will play a crucial role in assessing and supporting children and families to ensure their safety and well-being.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Conducting assessments to determine the needs of children and families
- Developing and implementing intervention plans to address identified concerns
- Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies
- Undertaking direct work with children and families to promote positive outcomes
- Contributing to permanency planning and decision-making processes
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with current HCPC registration
- Experience in working within a children's services setting
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
