We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in Trafford, specializing in Adult Safeguarding. As a key member of our social work department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in our community.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Conduct assessments and investigations to determine the need for safeguarding interventions
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with service users, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Provide support and advocacy for adults at risk of abuse or neglect
- Work closely with external agencies and partners to coordinate safeguarding efforts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification
- Registered with Social Work England
- Demonstrated experience in adult safeguarding within a social work setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize workload
