We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult Safeguarding Hub in Trafford. This is a chance to contribute to a forward-thinking, supportive team at the heart of adult social care, helping to shape and deliver best practice safeguarding services across the borough.

About the Role
As part of our Safeguarding Hub, you will be responsible for:

Acting as a single point of access for all adult safeguarding referrals.

Screening and triaging concerns, coordinating provider-led safeguarding responses, and managing organisational safeguarding issues.

Ensuring safeguarding responses are timely, proportionate, and aligned with current legislation and policy.

Working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to promote the safety and wellbeing of adults at risk.

About You
We're looking for someone who embodies Trafford's values and behaviours, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services and driving continuous improvement. You will:

Be a Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration.

Have experience working in adult social care, particularly in safeguarding.

Possess strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislative frameworks.

Be proactive, reflective, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for adults at risk.

Work well in a collaborative team environment and demonstrate strong decision-making and organisational skills.
