Pay Rate:

PAYE: Up to £25.23/hour

Ltd/Umbrella: Up to £32.34/hour

About the Role:
Warwickshire County Council is currently looking for a Qualified Social Worker (Level 4) to join their Adult Safeguarding team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a progressive local authority dedicated to protecting vulnerable adults and promoting independence through person-centred approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
Undertake safeguarding investigations in line with the Care Act 2014

Complete strength-based assessments and care plans

Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate care and protection

Ensure timely and accurate documentation of safeguarding activities

Work with adults with complex needs, including mental health, learning disabilities, and physical health concerns

Requirements:
Social Work England registration

Minimum of 2 years experience in Adult Safeguarding

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

Strong knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding legislation

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
