We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager (DTM) in Adult Social Care to join our team in Milton Keynes. This position offers a competitive rate of £40 per hour and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults in the community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Assist the Service Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Adult Social Care team
  • Provide leadership and support to social workers and care staff
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies
  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans for service users
  • Participate in case conferences and reviews

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration
  • Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within Adult Social Care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and best practices in social work
