Working Pattern: Hybrid - minimum 3 days in office
Pay Rate: £40 per hour (Umbrella)

Job Summary:
North East Lincolnshire Council is seeking a highly skilled Practice Supervisor to join the Leaving Care Team. This is a vital role supporting care leavers and supervising a team of Social Workers to ensure high-quality, inclusive, and outcomes-focused services. As part of our safer recruitment strategy, we ask that successful applicants work in the office at least three days a week to contribute fully to the team's inclusive and positive culture.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Lead, manage, and supervise a team delivering statutory social work to care leavers.
Maintain high standards of practice and decision-making in line with council policies and safeguarding procedures.
Provide reflective case supervision, coaching, and professional support to team members.
Make high-level decisions on complex cases and offer expert guidance to staff and partners.
Promote multi-agency working using relational practice and professional challenge where appropriate.
Ensure effective assessment, planning, review, and step-down arrangements, engaging all relevant professionals.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Qualified Social Worker with registration to Social Work England.
Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a statutory children's social care setting.
Strong understanding of leaving care legislation, relational practice, and child development.
Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Able to work autonomously and manage competing priorities effectively.
