We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our dynamic Adult Social Care Team in Darlington.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a strengths-based, person-centred service supporting adults aged 18+ with a variety of complex needs.

Role Overview:

As part of the Adult Social Care Team, you will:

Undertake statutory assessments including Care and Support Needs Assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments, Safeguarding Enquiries, and Support Planning

Promote independence and well-being through a strengths-based approach

Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and partner professionals

Ensure compliance with the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker (QSW) with Social Work England registration

Strong assessment and case management skills

Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet tight deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication

Commitment to multi-disciplinary working and making a meaningful difference
