Liverpool City Council is seeking a highly experienced Adult Social Worker for a short-term (3-month) contract to provide sickness cover within the Adult Social Care team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering vital support to vulnerable adults in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a complex caseload of adult social care cases.

Conduct assessments under the Care Act 2014.

Develop and review person-centred care plans.

Work in partnership with health professionals, service users, and carers.

Ensure timely safeguarding interventions when necessary.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.

Requirements:
Social Work England registration (essential)

Minimum 2 years experience in Adult Social Care

Sound knowledge of legislation, including the Care Act 2014

Experience working in a local authority or similar statutory setting

Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities under pressure
