We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced LAC Social Worker to join our team in Blackburn with Darwen. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting Looked After Children (LAC) and their families, ensuring their well-being and safety.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments and developing care plans for Looked After Children
  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and families to address safeguarding concerns

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work degree and HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience working with Looked After Children and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies
