Job Advert - Social Worker (Safeguarding Adults) - Blackpool
Location: Blackpool (Hybrid Working)
Rate: £30.66 per hour
Duration: 8 weeks
Positions Available: 3 x Social Workers (37 hours per week)
Blackpool Council is seeking 3 experienced Social Workers to join the Safeguarding Adults team on a temporary basis.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for:
Completing safeguarding enquiries, including both new concerns and outstanding historical cases
Supporting operational teams by reducing backlog pressures
Screening referrals and gathering information to determine if safeguarding enquiries are required
Working collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure appropriate safeguarding decisions
Working Arrangements
Hybrid working model
3 days per week office-based in Blackpool
2 days working from home (subject to service needs)
