Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join the 0-Infants Team within Blackpool Children's Services.
QSW - 0-Infants Team
📍 Location: Talbot Gateway, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY1 3AH, United Kingdom
💼 Contract: Full-Time
💰 Pay Rate: £39 per hour (Umbrella)
As a Social Worker in the 0-Infants Team, you will work with families, children and young people who are at the heart of everything we do. In Blackpool, children can achieve better outcomes when they are supported by their families and community.
Key Skills required:
- Experience in pre-birth assessments, child protection, complex child in need and PLO/Pre proceedings.
- An ability to build and maintain strong relationships with children and families.
- An ability to demonstrate high quality work including court statements and assessments. An ability to mentor and support less experienced team members.
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise. Strong decision-making and professional judgement.
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- 5 years reference, gaps in employment history checked, and relevant qualifications as per JDP
