Job Title: Qualified Social Worker (QSW) - Learning Disabilities and Autism
Location: Bickerstaffe House, Bickerstaffe Square, Talbot Road, Blackpool, FY1 3AH
Salary: £30.66 per hour
Hours: 37 hours a week, 9am-5pm (4:30pm finish on Fridays)
Working Pattern: Predominantly office-based, with occasional home working subject to service needs

Job Description:

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the Learning Disabilities and Autism team in Blackpool. This role involves working with individuals with learning disabilities (LD) and autism, providing assessments, support, and interventions that enhance the lives of service users. You'll play a key role in the community and work closely with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver support plans for individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Provide person-centred support to individuals, families, and carers.
  • Liaise with internal teams, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate services.
  • Work within the framework of relevant legislation and guidance to ensure compliance with care standards.
  • Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring high-quality outcomes for service users.
  • Contribute to team meetings and provide advice and support to junior staff or colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Social Work degree and HCPC registration.
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Strong communication and assessment skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and liaise with other professionals.
  • Knowledge of current legislation and best practices in social care.
