The London Borough of Lambeth is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's TM - Assessment Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring the well-being of vulnerable children and young people.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks in accordance with legislation and best practice guidelines.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of all assessments and interventions.
  • Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
