Adult's SW - Locality Team - London Borough of Lambeth
The London Borough of Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's SW - Locality Team. As a Qualified Social Worker in our Locality Team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
- Providing support and guidance to individuals with varying needs, including mental health, physical disabilities, and learning difficulties.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for service users.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Participating in supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with adults in a social work setting, preferably within a locality team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and their families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
