The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with disabilities and their families.
  • Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals.
  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure the best outcomes for children.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective care plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working in partnership with families.
