The London Borough of Sutton is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s SW - Fostering/Kinship Team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing appropriate care plans.

  • Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure comprehensive support and safeguarding for children.
  • Providing advice and guidance to foster carers and kinship families to enhance their caregiving capacity.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements and local policies.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent), and be registered with Social Work England. You will also need to demonstrate strong knowledge of child protection legislation, safeguarding practices, and the fostering process. Essential skills include:
