About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Child Protection Team in Rotherham on an ongoing agency contract.

This is a fantastic chance to work within a supportive team environment while making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload within the Child Protection Team.

  • Complete high-quality assessments and care planning.

  • Work in partnership with children, families, and multi-agency professionals.

  • Contribute to safeguarding and child protection planning.

  • Participate in court work where required.

Requirements

  • Social Work England registration.

  • Significant post-qualifying experience within Children's Services.

  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and court processes.

  • Experience supporting, mentoring, or supervising social workers.

  • Excellent assessment, communication, and analytical skills.
