Are you an experienced Senior Qualified Social Worker looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting for a Children in Care Team within a well-established local authority in Rotherham Council.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex caseload of children in care.
  • Complete high-quality assessments, care planning, and statutory visits.
  • Work collaboratively with children, families, carers, and partner agencies.
  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed effectively.
  • Support, mentor, and provide guidance to less experienced social workers where required.
  • Prepare reports and attend court proceedings when necessary.

Requirements

  • Social Work England registration.
  • Significant post-qualifying experience within Children's Services.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and court processes.
  • Experience supporting, mentoring, or supervising social workers.
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and analytical skills.
